HISTORIC HOUSE REMODEL & CARRIAGE HOUSE

Originally a village Tin Shop, the dilapidated structure was demolished leaving the stone foundation. Sa designed a new two story carriage house on the building footprint maintaining the historic massing, charm, and detailing from the Tin Shop.  Sa assisted the client with Township zoning and Historic Architectural Review Board presentations and approvals.  The existing 18^th century main house underwent a restoration to preserve many of the historic details and character.  Stone walls were rebuilt to bring the site back to 18^th century conditions.  The site is nestled next to one of two streams that meet in the center of the Village of Carversville.
