Luxor II

The Luxor II project is a residential apartment building that underwent a “total makeover” renovation to an existing 4 story condominium building which contained 26 two-bedroom units (45,000 GSF). The building was originally built in 2008 and was shortly thereafter abandoned and condemned for fire and construction code violations. The new developer acquired the abandoned building in 2016 and envisioned a completely reimaged modern apartment building that would attract a younger demographic.

The Luxor II was fully renovated with a totally new exterior and interior design. The elevator and stair towers along with the primary structural system, exterior shell and roof was salvaged. The new exterior design features a colorful, clean and simplified design with a modern exterior look done of synthetic stucco. New contemporary windows and doors were added to a majority of the original openings to help control the renovation cost. The new interior redesign features 38 modern one- and two-bedroom rental apartments. The building features a new main lobby entrance that is designed for social gatherings including mail kiosk, beverage service, big screen TV, electric fire pit, and internet café with USB stations and free Wi Fi services.
