An extensive renovation with multiple additions brings new amenities and services to the residents of  a senior care community.

Twining Village lobby

Continuing our efforts to create new and exciting environments for one of the fastest growing segments of America’s population, Stampfl Associates is proud to announce the completion of a Phase 1 renovation at Twining Village Senior Living  in Holland, Pennsylvania.

Working with our partners at Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries and Benchmark Construction Company, Inc., we transformed a 40-year-old campus into a state-of-the-art independent living community with expanded public spaces, more efficient operations, and a better quality of life for residents.

The centerpiece of the project is a top-to-bottom remodeling of the Community Center Building. We created an expansive entrance lobby with amenities such as a gift shop, grab-and-go café, library, mailroom, lounge areas, and administrative spaces.  An addition to the rear of the building improves access to the resident dining room, adds much-needed utility functions, and connects more effectively with the campus grounds.

An overhaul of the dining room gives the space a much-needed facelift and provides the residents a greater variety of dining options. At center stage is a buffet with hot and cold serving stations, a griddle, a salad bar, and a wood-burning pizza oven.  Residents can watch the staff prepare their orders or opt for traditional tableside service. A new private dining room provides a space for family gatherings and other special events.

For active residents wanting larger living spaces, several new single-story, cottage-style apartments offer a full kitchen, dining room, den-style living area, porch, and multiple bedrooms, including a master suite with a walk-in closet and full bathroom.

A thousand feet of enclosed walkways were demolished and replaced with well-lit, conditioned corridors allowing residents to cross the campus safely and comfortably in any weather.
